Franklin FC
Franklin Utd FC was formed by Pukekohe AFC and Waiuku AFC in 2016 to bring together the finest football talent within the Franklin region, and teams were entered in the NRFL and U19s competitions. After Waiuku AFC withdrew from the FU entity at the end of the first season, Drury UFC stepped in to replace them, forging a successful partnership with Pukekohe AFC and the Franklin Utd members. Tuakau SC joined the Franklin family in 2018.
The Franklin United vision is to create a sustainable pathway to the top level for players in the Franklin region.
Franklin United Teams
Franklin Senior teams are the Men's NRFL Northern Conference and U23 Reserves teams, and the Women's NRFL Championship and Division 1 teams.
Franklin United Academy teams range from U10 to U17 grades.
During the 2017, the Franklin Board expanded the Franklin Utd FC scope with the formation of a Youth Academy which launched in January 2018. Players from member clubs (Tuakau, Drury & Pukekohe) and the wider football community are encouraged to trial for places in teams.
