SENIOR AWARDS - Nominations due in by Sun 24th Sept

TEAM AWARDS
Each team has 3 player awards that they decide amongst themselves and the team coach/manager submits:
1. MVP Most Valuable Player
2. Players Player: as voted by the players
3. Team Member: the player in the team who goes the extra mile for the team


SENIOR CLUB AWARDS
We also have the following awards selected via nominations from each team...
PLEASE explain WHY this person deserves the nomination otherwise we have nothing to compare!  Nominations just putting forward a name without a reason will be discounted.

1. Golden Boot: the player who has scored the most goals over the season, a nomination from each team (need to know name & number of goals scored)
2. Goal of the Year: a brief write-up for the person in your team that scored an outstanding goal of note during the season with explanation as to why they deserve this club award
3. Junior Player of the Year: an under 20s player who played in a Senior Team with an explanation as to why they deserve recogntion. 
4. Dick of the Year: player from each Team who has done something stupid & what that was (there's bound to be a few!).


SENIOR PRIZEGIVING EVENT - Saturday 28th October 2-10pm   $50 per person

RSVP & payment required by Weds 18t Oct  (no extentions possible)


This will be held at Maxwell’s Golf Retreat, 205B Ingram Road, Bombay.   https://eatplaystay.nz/

The event is open to all Senior players & partners, as well as Commttee members & partners.

We have the venue booked from 2pm-10pm and the bar will be open to purchase drinks.  It's a beautiful venue and we have sole use of the conference room and deck.

We have the footgolf greens booked from 3-5pm.  It's recommended we play in groups of about 6 people.  Groups can start concurrently at different holes and a full round of 9 holes takes about an hour.  Please wear flat soled shoes/sneakers (no football boots).

Dinner is planned for 6pm     Scotch Fillet Steak; marinated Chicken drumsticks;sausages; jacket potato and sour cream; baby beetroot; coleslaw; tossed salad; a sel selection of rolls; condiments.  Dessert: Chocolate log & cream with fresh fruit salad.  Tea & Coffee.

We will have the awards presentation after dinner during dessert.

After the awards, we can stay on and enjoy the venue until 10pm.

The club will cover the venue hire and footgolf fee.

As we pay per player for footgolf, please indicate when RSVPing if you intend to play.

Anyone not wanting to play can chill on the deck to watch the action, and there will be a fun golf putting game set up.

We'll be bringing balls for players so if we don't know you're playing, we won't have a ball for you!
